Founded in 1968 by Carl Forsberg in Boulder, Colorado, Magnelab began as Magnetek, producing everything from simple antenna coils to complex military-grade switching transformers. In 1995, the company was acquired by Solomon Corporation, a leading provider of current transformers, enclosures, and regulators for electrical utilities and industries. That same year, we moved into a 16,000-square-foot facility in Longmont, Colorado, just 35 miles north of Denver.

Today, Magnelab operates under Manutech, a Miami-based leader in magnetic components manufacturing with over 45 years of expertise. Manutech supports its global operations with a 350-person offshore facility, ensuring high-quality production at competitive costs.
